Before joining Emeriane Avocats at the beginning of 2024, Nicolas spent 8 years with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton's litigation and arbitration team, where he specialized in the resolution of a wide range of complex and strategic business law disputes (corporate, commercial, stock market, financial and white collar criminal matters).

Nicolas assists and represents companies, directors and shareholders in strategic pre-litigations, and proceedings before civil, commercial, criminal courts and arbitral tribunals, as well as in mediation proceedings.

Litigation risk is a strategic issue for economic operators at every stage of their development. This risk can be anticipated upstream through prevention, and managed downstream through the implementation of an effective and appropriate legal strategy.

Convinced that this support is essential in a French and European legal and regulatory environment that is undergoing profound change, Nicolas also helps his clients to take account of new environmental, social and governance requirements. While these represent challenges from a corporate liability and reputation standpoint, they also represent opportunities for development and more sustainable growth.
