Elea Batista

Elea advises the firm’s clients on civil and commercial litigation matters, regarding issues of corporate law, commercial law, as well as contractual and tortious civil liability. She is also involved in pre-litigation risk management and amicable dispute resolution.

Besides, Elea advises stakeholders committed to the environmental and social transition as part of the firm’s Impact practice. She assists companies with a corporate purpose (sociétés à mission), start-ups, organizations of the social and solidarity economy (ESS), NGOs and foundations with their legal structuring, governance, and matters of CSR and financing.

Prior to joining Emeriane Avocats, Elea completed several internships within the corporate and litigation departments of international law firms. She also trained in strategic litigation within the humanitarian organization Sherpa.
